Local TV Coverage of the Page Execution in a Nutshell

As our local TV stations go wall-to-wall with coverage of the Elijah Page execution today, here is the basic story you're going to hear over and over today:

Anchorperson: Elijah Page is scheduled to die tonight by lethal injection.  We go to the State Prison where Reporter X has the latest.

Reporter X: Thanks Anchorperson.  I'm standing in front of the State Prison where Elijah Page will executed tonight.  But right now, he's still not dead.  Back to you.

Anchorperson:  Thanks Reporter X.  We'll check back in a little later with the latest.

A little later. . .

Anchorperson: Elijah Page is scheduled to die tonight by lethal injection for the murder of Chester Allen Poage. We go to the State Prison, where Reporter X has the latest.

Reporter X:  Yes, Anchorperson, Page was given the death penalty for killing Poage.  Only Page can stop the process now.  But he's still not dead yet.

Anchorperson:  Thanks Reporter X.  We'll check back in a little later wit5h the latest.  That was Reporter X from the State Prison where Elijah Page is scheduled to die by lethal injection.

A little later. . .

Anchorperson: Elijah Page is scheduled to die tonight by a three drug lethal injection.  Reporter X is standing by at the State Prison with the latest.  Reporter X?

Reporter X: Thanks Anchorperson.  I am standing in front of the State Prison where Elijah Page is scheduled to be executed tonight.  It will be a three drug cocktail instead of a two drug cocktail, which Gov. Rounds had concerns about last year.  But as for now, Elijah Page is still not dead.  Back to you in the studio.

Anchorperson:  Thanks Reporter X.  That was Reporter X, standing in front of the State Prison, where Elijah Page is not dead yet.

And ad naseum. . .   Wet hair, apply live shot, rinse, repeat.
