Deutsche Armeehundesozialstunde!

The new Dog Park at Spencer Park in Sioux Falls isn't just a hit with local dog lovers--it's an international hit!

German Wehrmacht World War II K-9 troops from a detachment of the Otto Von Bismarck Corps Feldgendarmerie frequent the park with their vicious yet well trained German Shephards.

Obergefreites Hans Spuzensprecher from Hoganburg, Barvia says through a translater that the park is a welcome diversion from tracking escaped Allied prisoners of war and killing members of the French Underground.

"Ich liebe meine hund!," laughs Spuzensprecher.  "There's nothing like a game of fetch with your trusty hound to lighten the load during wartime," Spuzensprecher said.  "Plus, since our beloved Fuhrer is also a dog lover, it doesn't hurt come promotion time."

Schmutterklingen's colleague, Fachmann Joseph Lederhosenschniffer from Unter Klink, West Phalia, says he's found Sioux Falls residents to be polite, which is a sign of weakness to a member of the master race like him.

"You Americans, you are weak," Lederhosenschniffer said.  "Your dogs are weak too.  You and your pooches will not prosper under the new Reich!"

The two German soldiers can be seen at the dog park whenever there is a rip in the time/space continuum.
