• With Our History, Spinning America's Image Isn't Enough (History News Network)--This is a great new source I just found.  This article discusses why other countries don't trust America's "democratization" efforts. 
• Hagel: "Iraq could be worse than Vietnam" (The Daily Kos)--The handwriting is on the wall only W can't see it.
• Weekend Roundup: Thune’s bud catches a tough break, Conservative blog “ashamed” of Gourley, Rosenthal just another pretty face, and RCJ hates America (Don't Worry About the Government)--Let me simply say, classic Jer Bear.
• Iran's President Says He'll Move Forward With Nuclear Program (New York Times)--This should makes us all shudder.  There's not a good result at the end of this deal.
• I'm glad they cleared that up....(Blind Orange Julius)--More good stuff from our state's visual blogger (caution, visual obscenity shown).
