Al Edel Obituary in the Washington Times

Tod Edel, Sioux Falls broadcast legend Al Edel's son, sent me a link to his father's obituary in the Washington Times.

If you missed Al on KSOO-TV/KSFY-TV, you missed a man with a wonderful baritone voice, complete ease in front of the camera, Walter Cronkite-esque gravitas and avuncularity, and twinkle in this eye.  Along with Ken Hirsch and Terry Dean, Al and company were the region's greatest anchor team ever.  They also nearly beat KELOLAND.

Al also lead a wonderfully varied and fruitful life.

Tod, thanks for the obit and the best wishes to you and your family.
