Audio Alert: Robert Novak Sniffing Around Our Little Band of Merry Anti-Thune Bloggers

I received a call today from a producer/researcher for Robert Novak, yes, THAT Robert Novak, concerning why there are all the S.D. blogs harassing Sen. John Thune. Here's my audio report about that call and some thoughts.

Again, the quality is phone quality.  I really want to know if you all like receiving information in this manner.

For single-voice transmission, there's little benefit in moving up to high-resolution, Todd. I think 'phone-quality' for voice monologue is just fine. If it were a dialog, where people will inherently speak over each other a little bit, an extra channel of data or two would probably be nice, though.

Audioblogging is interesting, but I suspect you can type almost as fast as you can talk and we can certainly read text a lot faster than you can talk.

Now, if you could sing "Happy Days are Here Again", it might be something else.

About Novak person's comment regarding it "strange" that a freshman Senator would get so much attention by SD bloggers so sone after election, I wonder why there hasn't been more than a few comments about why when a pretty boy showboat got so much media attention and also GOP party attention just because he was able to run a sufficiently dirty and misleading campaign to beat a real Senator.

Thune got coverage because he was somehow viewed hy the GOP and press apologists as suddenly the equal of Daschle. That is a very interesting logical and factual error...but a nice bit of propaganda.
