Senator Thune is busy in Washington, D.C. doing what he was elected to do: fight for South Dakota. As a veteran, myself, I was happy to see that he is now supporting Senator Johnson's bill to protect veteran's benefits. He contiues to fight to save Ellsworth by joining forces with Johnson and Herseth. It sounds like he has won the support of Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist in this endeavor!

Senator Thune has NOT continually voted against veteran's issues. He has been supporting the effort to ensure our benefits are preserved. If you check his voting record you would see this. If you need additional factual information, be free to e-mail me I'd be glad to pass the information on to you!
Good Day!

Mr. Gregory - I guess it is safe to assume then that Mr. Thune preserved our benefits when he voted 3 times in his first hundred days to not increase the funding that was so desperately needed even before the truth leaked out. And he supported me as a congressman when he helped steal 15.5 billion dollars from veterans compensation to build new roads nation wide in Republican districts - No I have not forgotten that one either - In short Mr. Gregory wake up and drink your Kool Aid

wow gut you need to talk to commander andal and find out the whole truth on our junior senator, you think a senator who is in the veterans committee would try to run his bill through his own committee not the finance committee, thune is a loser on v.a health care calll andal at 360-2515 and he will help straighten you out.
