Straight Talk: A Billion/Wiese, Wiese/Billion Ticket?

Former SDGOP Chairman Joel Rosenthal reports that Democrat gubernatorial candidates Jack Billion and Dennis Wiese have made a "deal" concerning their runs for S.D. Governor.  An excerpt:

Let’s Make A Deal – Political scuttlebutt is that Jack Billion and Dennis Wiese made a deal recently at the State Dem McGovern Day Dinner in Aberdeen. It’s rumored the deal was struck that they would focus their respective Gubernatorial campaigns in tandem attacking and criticizing Mike Rounds and praising each other. They would conserve resources and use earned media to just keep up the attack and negative campaign against the Governor. They further agreed that whichever of them won the primary; the winner would select the other as his Lieutenant Governor running mate.

I certainly hope this is just Republican agit-prop and not true.  Dennis Wiese is part of the problem in the Democratic Party--he is pro-life and hence, part of our own party's problem in creating H.B. 1215 and related nonsense.  He is the old economy.  His track record at S.D. Farmers Union needs to be examined carefully.  His being on the ticket blurs the distinction between Jack Billion (pro-choice, pro-open government, anti-religious extremist agenda) and Mayor Mike Rounds.

Jack, I hope you didn't make this deal and it is just Republican b.s.  If not, it's a big mistake, not that you asked me for my opinion.  Jack, run away from Dennis as fast as you can.

Is it misinformation, or "Disinformation"? The two have always confused me. Anyways, I'm glad you came back to the Democratic fold Todd.

Sincerely,

Mike

I don't think Wiese is part of the problem...he didn't vote for that bill like another Dem who thought about running for gov (Sutton). Moreover, I'm not sure Dr. Billion really represents the people of South Dakota ($$$). Maybe Wiese isn't the answer...but do you really think Billion can beat that Youthful, energetic, Mayor Rounds?
