I received the following unsigned response to my "diatribe" this morning in my email.  I repost it with no commentary.  Draw your own conclusions.

Hello Todd D. Epp, Esquire:

Someone must have hurt you as a child, for only hurt people hurt people. I am sorry for you, Todd. I pray you have the courage to read all the way down.

Teach kids about sex? THEY can teach you. Sex education as put forth by Planned Parenthood is about contraception. Period. Have you seen the material? Cursory nods to behavior, more concerns over "political correctness" than promouscuity, and a total disregard for the character of the person. We are not "dogs", regardless of the vernacular of your compatriots. Human beings are, like it as not, moral creatures. You have a mind, an intellect, and believe it or not, a conscience (though I gather yours to be more akin to one "seared" [as with a hot iron] shut so as to admit no light).

Millions (yes, Todd, MILLIONS) of teens worldwide are making a CHOICE. And though you can hardly imagine it, they are choosing to embrace abstinence! Yes, they are saying they ARE better than mere animals subject only to whims and hormones. They are demanding (and getting) respect from their peers. They are taking a stand for integrity. And for character. Not everyone is "doing it", and many are realizing that they can control their own urges and behaviors. And they are doing so by choice.

Research "intelligent design" in google if you dare. You will be surprised. I hope you will be enlightened. Look for people like Dr. Hugh Ross, a world renowned and respected astrophyscist. Be dilligent and look at the probabilities, the math, the sheer volume of information just since Hubble. Irrefutable facts are daily changing the minds of some of the most rigid evolutionists. Really.

"Extremists and reenslavers"? If it is extreme to stand for truth, then let us all be extreme. But the reality is that YOU are the extremist, for you vehemently denounce any who oppose your world view, while ringing the bells of diversity. "The American dream will cease to be and we will more closely resemble Iran..."?? The Mullahs in Iran are decrying your right to live! They are even now urging the faithfull to guarantee their eternal reward by killing all who they define as "infidel". Have you ever asked a Muslim cleric to define "infidel"? They define it as anyone who does not believe as they and adhere to the commands of their leaders. They further teach that we are in a worldwide jihad, or holy war, and that as such, they are justified in killing all who are infidel.

I have never heard Billy Graham, or the Pope, or any single Rabbi EVER say such a thing regarding muslims. On the contrary, as a group, these teach that there IS one God, and that He is a God of love. Not hate. One who loves people, but does indeed hate sin. What is sin? If you have to ask, then you are universally recognized by leading psychology textbooks as pathological and abherant. Jesus said the greatest commandment was to love God above all else, and that the 2nd was like unto it, in that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Your neighbor is at this moment fully functional with definite brainwave patterns, respiration, reflexes, thoughts and dreams. Your neighbor responds to pain stimulus as do you, Todd. And like you, recoils from it. Especially intense pain, Todd.

The difference is in volume. Yours and my screams would be loud. Very loud. Your neighbors would be silent, but no less plaintiff.

Millions of silent, little screams, Todd. Can you hear them? I hope you never shall, but I fear you may very well for eons to come unless you change your heart.

We only want to silence the screams, Todd, and stop the rampaging slaughter of the innocents.

Why must "Women's health" always equal "Children's death"? How can any rational human kill for conveinence and call it justifiable? They cannot unless they change the terminology. They must change the language, change the very definitions to ease their conscience. For they too, are human, and cannot avoid the pangs of conscience the flesh is heir to. Thus the same "health practioner" will haply dismember, torture and kill the defenseless ones in the mornings, go get a good power lunch, and then listen raptly with fetal monitors to the more fortunate little ones that afternoon.

What's the difference? In the morning it is at a "Women's Health Clinic" and is couched in terms like "fetus" and "tissue". In the aftenoon it is at a more serene office, and the words spoken are "your baby" and "heartbeat". Many of the same individual's patients are very similar in age (or "term"), and all are in what once was considered much more than safe..... a womb, Todd. In the morning they are health practioners, in the afternoon they are doctors. In the afternoons they strap on fetal heartbeat monitors and listen through loudspeakers; in the mornings they put in earbuds to mask all distractions and use scalpels and suction.

The only way to maintain sanity is to be in denial. "Life begins at birth" is the mantra, and "breathing of air" is the legal posturing (which is why there is always a deep bucket of water to drop the baby in, just in CASE the cutting, dismembering and suction does not always kill instantly [which it DOES NOT]; hence 'plop' into the water to conveniently drown.)...mantras and posturing are essential, you see.

No, Todd. We are not "Rightwing Big Brothers".... looking to "...defeat the concept of free will by a free thinking people" by any stretch. On the contrary, WE are the ones reminding YOU that we all are free, MORAL agents (Yes, Todd, free and moral, not amoral) and as such are endowed by certain "....unaleinable rights [read un-a-LEIN-able, not un-a-le-in-able as in something from area 51, but unaleinable meaning that they cannot be taken away from us] from creation" [I know that must gall you, but I was not the author of these phrases centuries ago].

I sincerely hope you genuinely are a free thinker. At least that means you are truly THINKING. And if you continue to do so, then you have hope. And that's much more than the innocents whom you deny and bemoan will ever have unless the 31st Govenor of South Dakota and other strong, courageous men awaken a just and compassionate America.

I pray for God to BLESS you, Todd. I really, really do, and that your mind that has been trained and honed as sharp as the best steel trap.....that it would be open and receptive to the glimmering and flickering light you can just make out in the distance. Do you see it? Squint....it's there, ever so faint to you now. Concentrate, and you now begin to recognize it as the beacon of truth that it is. Walk towards it and use it's light to illuminate your mind and your soul. I pray your mind is really open.

I pray your mind, like that trap, is not closed. That it is not shut hard and tight. Go to light, Todd.
