Sen. Max Baucus (D-Mont.), who is up for re-election this cycle, has formed a special fund raising account to help Sen. Tim Johnson (DS.D.) raise money for a prospective 2008 bid while recovering from emergency brain surgery.

Couple this with the news that Steve Jarding is working with Tim again (See The Hog House’s A Fox in the Hog House) and I think my posting last week (See Expect Sen. Johnson to be Back in “Campaign Form”) that Tim would be in “campaign form” is not just wishful thinking but taking tangible form.

And BTW, Jarding is a freakin’ genius (and a great guy) and I’m glad to see him helping Tim and back in S.D.
