George Bush's Wet Dream Continues in Pakistan

Now Gen. Musharraf is rounding up his political opponents.
President Bush and V.P. Cheney must be so jealous. Perhaps if they get another non-torture seeing/Bill of Rights hating Justice on the Supreme Court they can do the same thing. Meanwhile, I’m sure Congressional Democrats would also have trouble passing a resolution condemning the action while they’re being carted off to the gulag.
I’m just saying.
A blurb from this morning’s New York Times.
- Pakistan Rounds Up Musharraf’s Political Foes —Pakistan’s government detained opposition figures and said parliamentary elections could be delayed for as long as a year.
(After posting this originally, I spotted Scott Ehrisman’s excellent cartoon. I think it says what I want to say even better. Oh, and Schaff. In response to your defense of the indefensible, Bush stole and election to get where he is now. You actually think he’ll step down without some bogus excuse about the country being at war? I think he and Cheney believe their regency has no expiration date. And to use Lincoln and Bush in the same sentence? Do you really think GWB is in the same league as Lincoln? Please. Plus, you know what, Jonnny, I have a cartoonist and you don’t. Speak softly and carry a big cartoon, I always say.)
