Thanks to the geniuses over at the Poynter Institute—which tries to make journalists better and smarter—I got the idea of using the social network Twitter to give you quick updates and takes throughout the day—whether I’m near a computer or not.

You can check in here on the left side of the Home Edition of SD Watch and browse the Twitter Box or you can go directly to the SD Watch Twitter site or subscribe to the SD Watch Twitter RSS feed.

I’ll try it for a while and see if you and I like it.

And why does SD Watch do these things?  Because it cares so much about you, our loyal readers!
