Gallup Poll: Everyone (with an "R") Loves Rudy; No One Loves W; Congressional Dems Lose Some MoJo

Some interesting results from the Gallup Poll. Republicans like Rudy Giuliani; most of the country still thinks President George W. Bush stinks.

Giuliani Top Choice Among Both Moderate, Conservative Republicans
An analysis of Republicans’ primary nomination preferences shows Rudy Giuliani the leader among conservative and liberal and moderate Republicans, though his support is stronger among moderates than conservatives. John McCain is second among both groups and fares better among moderates than conservatives. Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney get greater support among conservatives than among moderate and liberal Republicans.

Congress Job Approval Back Down Again This Month
The modest January and February uptick in approval of the job being done by Congress has dissipated for the most part after only two months.  Congress job approval is back down in March to levels quite similar to where it was in 2006. Democrats have lost a good deal of the positivity exhibited in the first two months of the year after their party took over control of the House and Senate.
