Johnston: Krabbenhoft NOT Part of mysiouxfalls.com

I received a short email from Mark Johnston, one of the top officials at Sanford Hospital, who says that Kelby Krabbenoft is not involved with mysiouxfalls.com.

I have no reason to not believe Mark.

But I have to tell you, it shouldn’t be this damn difficult to figure out who owns a news outlet in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Mark, thanks for the correction and the email.

When are you going to find out who the major shareholders of Gannett are? You know Gannett, which owns the Argus Leader? And how much does Gannett/Argus make every year in South Dakota and send to the East Coast?

Finding out Gannett's major shareholders is a snap. Just go to the SEC www.sec.gov and pull up the form 3, 4 and 13-d forms that have been filed.

Or, for the unofficial compilated version, go to Yahoo finance:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mh?s=GCI

Took me, like, 3 minutes to do this BTW.
