I Am Powerless Over Obama--Todd's Man-Crush

I have fought the man-crush for as long as I can.  I (heart) Obama!

As much as I like and regard John Edwards, the candidate I have been supporting for the Democratic nomination for President, I think Barack Obama is the candidate of change.  He is our era's JFK--young, handsome, articulate, charismatic--and most importantly--full of hope and inspiration.

After seven years of George W. Bush's dismantling of our Constitution, constant lying, and feathering the nests of his cronies, it is time for a little hope and inspiration in America.

And, today, I have put my money where my mouth is and written a modest check to the Obama for President Campaign.  Expect to see a surge in fund raising efforts for Obama even here in South Dakota in the next month prior to the February 5th Primaries.

Sorry John.  You're a good man and a good candidate but I think Barack is the agent of change in 2008.

I hope you will join me in supporting Barack Obama for President.

Todd! jumping on the bandwagon so soon? I thought you'd tough it our longer than that.

But remember: the only guy talking real policy change is my man Dennis!

I'll support Obama if he takes the nomination and if he picks up Edwards as VP, but I'm staying loyal to John Edwards. If you take a look at who funds the Clinton and Obama campaigns (big corporations)... and really want change -- Edwards is the real deal.
