Various media reports have former S.D. U.S. Senator Tom Daschle being named as Secretary of Health and Human Services under President Obama.

Roll Call, Capitol Hill’s newspaper, and CNN are reporting that former South Dakota Senator Tom Daschle will play an important role in BarackObama’s cabinet.

Both report Daschle will be the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

This is an excellent pick.  Sen. Daschle has a passion to reform health care.  He has the political skills on Capitol Hill to make it happen.
