If We Give Citi the Bailout, Make Sure to Call Them at Dinner Asking When They Can Repay

I don't think Citi should get billions for a bailout.  I'm tired of what I thought were capitalists having their losses socialized while just plain folks get kicked out of their jobs and homes and get no help.

But if we--yes we, the taxpayers--are expected to bailout (I mean loan) Citi $25 billion or so, I think the U.S. Treasury Department should call all the Citi executives at their dinner times every day and ask them when they plan to pay the money back until they do pay it back.

Heck, that's what Citi does. We have a whole slew of folks here in Sioux Falls that do that for a living with the poor saps stuck with 25% interest on their credit cards and accruing charges of all sorts.

Seems only fair to me.

"If you give a mouse a cookie..." Even Madville Times Jr. knows that story, and knows it turns into a big circular mess!

Given Citi's record of abject failure going back into the 80's with repeated bailouts (public and private), culminating in its being forbidden to snap up any more competitors until it got its own house in order, the least that should happen is that the board and ALL top management should be fired.
MAKE CERTAIN the bailout has the same usurious interest rate that Citi (thanks to South Dakota voters) charges customers.
ENSURE that payments are due on a rolling deadline. Not 30 days....25 days. And let them know AFTER the fact that online payments take three days to post-
INSTITUTE some nice stiff "late fees" for online payments made after 2 PM on the due date.
THEN start calling them at home at dinner time asking when they will start paying back all that they have borrowed in their company's name over the years.
REMEMBR to ask them repeatedly during the same phone call.
THEN offer them a chance to set up an auto withdrawal on
their bank account.
DON'T FORGET to also call them after 9 PM.
