I'm trying to track this down but a source tells me that every South Dakota Democratic Party staffer except Executive Director Rick Hauffe was let go today. 

These were the DNC funded positions.  I hope to God it isn't true.  I don't know how we can continue to build the Party at the state and local level without good staff--or any staff.

The team that the SDDP had in 2008 was outstanding--Jane Murphy, Amanda Mattingly, Matt McLarty, and Deb Knecht worked hard and effectively. 

Please tell me it isn't so.  As a local party officer myself, I already knew we had our work cut out for us.  This would make the job so much tougher.
