Thank you to everyone who called or commented during the past five days while I was ill.  I greatly appreciate everyone’s good wishes while I was down with the worst cold I’ve had in probably a decade.  I hope you can stay away from what I had.  I’m still pretty tired but back in my various saddles.

• Like me, Oscar was watching Dexter, CBS’s exquisitely creepy show about a serial killer who kills serial killers.
