McGovern Day: A Very Democratic Weekend

Here are some photos from McGovern Day, the Sen. Barack Obama Rally, and Sen. Tim Johnson’s campaign office open house.



State Sen. B.J. Nesselhuff, Barack Obama’s state political director, opens the Obama rally at the Sioux Falls Convention Center Saturday.



Todd Herseth, state senate candidate from Davison County, introduced his sister, Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, at the Obama rally.



Long-time Democrat staffer and volunteer Jeff Wilka attends the Obama rally. Jeff has worked for Senators Jim Abourezk and Tom Daschle and now volunteers at the Obama S.D. HQ.

Gen. Wesley Clark was the keynote speaker at McGovern Day. He said the Democratic Party cannot surrender the national security issue this election to the Republicans.
