Oh No! Say It Ain't So! A Month of Light Posting Ahead

It pains me to do this, but I have some heavy duty work (including preparing for a likely one week-plus federal drug conspiracy trial) ahead of me as an attorney over the next month, plus trying to fit in almost a season's worth of soccer games for my son Matt's team and officiating over the next week and a half, and handling some duties for EqSD PAC.

Further, the Obama campaign keeps bugging me to help them.

And top it all off with the fact that my wife Donna has been on the road almost continuously lately and I'd like to spend some quality time with her.

Late June doesn't look much better as I plan to attend the Kansas Bar Convention in Topeka, attend to some additional important EqSD PAC work, and then attend the SD Democratic Convention.

Obviously, we're in an exciting time with the South Dakota June Primary Election--the Democratic Presidential Nomination, the Hyperion vote in Union County, and some very interesting Republican and Democratic legislative primaries. Still, work, family and my hands-on political committments will come first over the coming weeks.

Thus, don't expect a lot of blogging over the next month.

I'll post as time allows but don't expect anything on a regular basis or much more than a post a day, if that.

Sorry, but a blogger's gotta do what a bloggers gotta do.

Also after the middle of June, I'm contemplating some minor to major changes in content direction and perhaps even the look. Stay tuned! Thanks for your continued readership and support.

I hope your changes include killing the popups that make this site less visited than some. I'm just sayin'

(don't repeat that thing you always do about them not being your doing. you choose this provider)

Good. I don't read your blog anyway unless an interesting headline shows up on the SDWC blog list. And maybe this means we won't be subjected to your inane I'M JUST SAYIN' on other blogs!! Won't miss that a bit.

We and Anon:

It's nice to have fans like you. Enjoy my hiatus and the popups (which I can't control). I'm just sayin'.

Skippy...... Don't listen to them.

I am glad you actually got a case to take to trial. Has to be better paying than blogging.

Most don't understand how informational the Kansas Bar Convention is to a South Dakota Attorney.

I do not get the pop-ups... what's up with that? Don't they let everyone download Fire Fox with ad-blocker.... it may be a new Union County Commissioner Censorship Conspiracy!

If you want, send the passwords to Doug Lund so he can blog here while you take your leave, I understand he has a few more things he would like to get off his chest.

See ya!

Skippy, Jr./Alter Ego:

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm also licensed in Kansas and have to get CLEs to keep that license current. But I see your point.

Dougy has his own venue in which to sing my praises. But your idea is interesting. Hmmmm.

Keep PP honest over at SDWC while I'm non-blogging, Skippy, Jr.

Ciao!

Geez, even I don't get this shitty at SDWC.

Hey, Epp, we're going to miss your posts. We'll expect double time when you get back.

Good luck at trial.

Do you say "I'm just sayin" in trial?
