Federal Tax Lien Filed Against SDAPV Ag Development LLC
The Internal Revenue Service yesterday filed a tax lien against SDAPV Ag Development LLC of Lennox, SD in the amount of $38.200.00 with the Lincoln County Register of Deeds.
I believe this is one of several SDAPV entities that GOP U.S. Senate Candidate Joel Dykstra was involved in that received state and federal monies and loans. If I am wrong on these points, please correct me. I want to be accurate.
One of my sources tells me that these liens are typically taken over unpaid federal taxes. However, I am not sure why the IRS has taken this particular lien.
The lien encumbers a property until it is paid or otherwise removed or discharged.

You are doing the same thing that you and your friends trash SDWC for...putting stuff out there without making a phone call or two to confirm.
You could very well be right. But why not get it right the first time?

Good thought. But am I wrong?

So the company can't pay its federal taxes even when it had a state taxpayer loan that was converted to a grant (meaning the taxpayers never got paid back)?
Wasn't Dykstra the President of this company? I bet he always got his paycheck on time. I bet his paycheck was substantial - courtesy of the taxpayers who didn't get paid back. So Dykstra ran the company into the ground despite taxpayer subsidies? I wonder if he will be held accountable. We shall see.
Interesting. I remember hearing something around Canton about shenanigans at a company Dykstra was working for. I think it was about some farmers losing a bunch of money. I wonder if it's that company?
To Todd Epp,
Your blog post yesterday about SDAPV Ag Development, LLC was technically accurate-I did have an association with the company for a period of time and there is a tax lien filed, but any implication that the two things are related is wrong.
My time with SDAPV ended in August of 2004 and the tax lien deals with the company’s 2005 tax return.
Please feel free to contact me directly any time if you have questions about me or the campaign.
Best wishes,
Joel Dykstra
Todd you think this guy would vote against veterans health care like Thune.
A lot of the psychological well being of the American public comes from how well they’ve done with their house over the years. If indeed there’s been a bubble, and it’s pricked at some point, the net effect on Berkshire might well be positive [because the company’s financial strength would allow it to buy real-estate-related businesses at bargain price
With the changing interest rates debtor and creditors gap analysis varies , they look for more marginal returns accordingly .
