Re Lieberman: Obama needs to tell Wes Clark to shut up. His idiotic comments are going to backfire big time.

Anon, I disagree. I watched it the first time, and I don't see how Clark is out of line. Prior to his statement, he had praised McCain for his service ... but qualifications wise, should we appoint someone that has served and been shot down to be CEO of Citibank? Sanford Health? There are more components to being the President than the "We Wage War" branch .... though lately that isn't communicated very well in the current Admin., is it?

I'm disappointed that so much is made out of this. It is a distraction by a medium that wants a horse race and wages faux outrage so that ratings will go up. Any thinking person knows that there is more to running a country than serving in the military. Let's explore how McCain is serving his country NOW, shall we?

He's missed 367 votes in the 110th Congress.

He opposed the Web Expansion of the GI Bill, as did the President. Yet, he got credit for it's passage and congratulated by the President that opposed it as did he. It's blatent dishonesty -- but notice no media is making a big deal of this gaffe, but they'll pounce all over and try and make Clark's statement an issue.

To top this off, this very same day, McCain ironically, idiotically states "Obama can't be trusted."

This from a guy that has three pages of flip flopping on positions. What DOES McCain stand for?
This video snippet is entertaining and informative:

This is the guy that Sen. Thune stands by. Unfortunately, this is the guy that will carry SD ... why I'll never understand.
