Best neon sign, prior to the neon paint cans (which paint store was it before it became Video Mania?) was the spilling milk sign (Terrace Park? Lakeside?) that used to be on the 10th/11th street passover as one headed west. The other one I really miss was the dancing hot dog at a business called Taco Rita.

Sure, we can clean up our namesake falls ... but the vanishing and eventual death of our glorious neon heyday is sad indeed.

Neon signs rock. Odd billboards rock.

This isn't a Sioux Falls sign but one I loved nonetheless.

For years there was a wonderful Buttercrust Bread sign at the intersection of 10th and Topeka Blvd in Topeka, KS. Slices of bread perpetually poured out of a Buttercrust Bread loaf. It was like life would always go on. Plus, the bakery wasn't far away so you could usually smell baking bread as well. Alas, the sign is gone. Plus Buttercrust had a great saying: "Buttercrust is good bread." Simple, to the point, true.
