Debate is Fishy: A Note to Sibby

Since Sibby won’t let me post comments on his blog, I’ll make this offer here.
Contrary to what Steve might think, neither Pat Powers or I have any say about what KELOLAND TV broadcasts over the air. They have their own producers, news director, program director, and a general manager to make those decisions.
If Steve would like to contact KELOLAND about a “debate” on Inside KELOLAND, he’s welcome to do so. Those rare times I have been on KELOLAND, they’ve called me, I haven’t called them. Or perhaps KCPO and “The Facts” would like to host it.
But a bit of perspective.
Even during my own TV producer/executive producer days, I would have had to go up and down the org chart to get a kooky idea like a debate with Sibby on TV at KTWU, KSFY, KDLT, or SDPTV. I doubt it would have flown even if I stomped my liberal little feet to management and held my breath until I turned a liberal shade of blue.
But I digress.
I will sincerely offer this. I have installed a live chat feature at the bottom right of this site. If I think it is a suitable platform to host a live “debate”, I’ll debate Steve on any issue of his choosing and ask Pat to tag along. We’ll have to arrange a time when all the players can do it. Right now, among work, family, soccer, EqSD, and my political activities for the local party, I’m really busy. Perhaps some Saturday or Sunday evening before the election will work (but not at 9 p.m. CT Sundays as that is appointment TV for me to watch those raging humanist seculars on AMC’s “Mad Men”). Things free up for me a bit after October 18th, the end of the fall soccer season.
So, Steve, send me some weekend dates. If you dare.

Anytime Sibby wants to debate IM10, his organization's measure - I'm happy to be there. But I'm not holding my breath.
History has shown that steve's not any more that a paper tiger. Mitchell's Walter Mitty talks tough, but folds when it comes time to actually do more than imagine...
Still no word from Sibby.
Day two. Still no word from Sibby re debating.
Day Three. As yet, no word from Sibby on the offer to debate.
Day Four:
Steve still has not picked up the challenge. Meanwhile, Pat Powers accepted my challenge re posts on the others' blogs if he's wrong about Stephanie Herseth Sandlin and Al Frankengate.

Day 5:
Still no Sibby. Perhaps he is busy from October 18 to election day? Hmmm.

Day 6:
Have Humanist Seculars kidnapped Sibby? Perhaps that is why he hasn't accepted the debate challenge.
