Live from the Democratic Convention in Denver, It's South Dakota Watch!

Even though the DNCC decided to credential paid political operatives from South Dakota instead of grassroots citizens to cover the Denver Democratic National Convention, South Dakota Watch will be live and direct from the event.
South Dakota Watch will have two correspondents in Denver.
- Joe Prostrollo, late of mysiouxfalls.com, has been credentialed through http://www.examiner.com. Joe will provide updates and live blogging of convention events and news from a South Dakota perspective. The live blog platform he'll be using is at the top of the page. It will also allow you to add your own comments to Joe's coverage.
- Barry Foster, government teacher at Sioux Fall Lincoln and an Obama delegate alternate (and one of my very best friends), will provide photos, news, and a personal view from an insider's perspective. Barry will also do a private wiki site on the convention for his government classes at Lincoln.
So, please bookmark The Watch as an important part of your Democratic Convention coverage. And if you see Barry or Joe in Denver, at least buy them a beer as a token of thanks.

You can expect some great coverage from badlandsblue.com, from Tyler -- who has East and West River roots and will definitely be in the game down there as a South Dakota boy.
You can also look forward to posts from this side of the state (West River Blue, Robbinsdale Radical, and of course all the great candidate sites) as the stories develops this week. If I don't make it to Invesco (not much detail on that forthcoming from the Convention yet, shocking!) we're going to have a heck of a party in Rapid City from afar, yet quite "plugged in" thanks to the excellent SD lefty blogosphere.
Sorry yours truly isn't up on "twittering" but we hope to have some good info out there anyway.
There is a lot going on in South Dakota and in Denver... good time to stay tuned and fire up your RSS aggregators!
Rah rah rah!
RR:
Still carrying water for Badlands Blue? I don't expect anything from BB other than rah rah BS. Joe and Barry will actually tell people what's going on, not some sanitized version thereof.
