Maybe the Man Crush Needs to Hold His Nose and Pick the Pantsuit

I hate to say this. Maybe Barack Obama needs to pick Hillary Clinton has his running mate.

Yes, it pains me to say that.

But the midgets that Barack is considering—Tim Kaine, Joe Biden, and Even Bayh, just don’t cut it.

The only name still out there that is fresh, new, and potentially helpful is Kathleen Sebelius. And she looks to be out of it.

Barack has fumbled the period between the primaries and caucuses until now. He flip-flopped on issues, he failed to adequately respond to John McCain’s attacks, he’s lost his lead in the polls, and he never fully healed the Hillaryites.

I mean if he is going to pick someone who represents Old Politics, he might as well pick someone who has mastered it-and who apparently brings people into the tent.

I can’t imagine dealing with Hillary and Bill Clinton’s enormous egos. But Barack will be dealing with even bigger egos like Vladmir Putin’s, whoever is in charge of China, and the crazies in the Middle East.

It would energize the Democratic Party, unify it, and maybe staunch the bleeding to McCain.

Like JFK and LBJ before them, they don’t have to like each other, they just have to win—then figure out the rest later.

So, the Man Crush and the Pant Suit, together again for the first time!

That is NOT Hillary Clinton's pant suit. Todd, you need to learn to be more open and clean in your liberalism. Like Sibby is.

No! No! No to the pantsuit. Geez, today McCain even went along with the suggestion of bringing back the draft. The GOP is basically the "war" party. Why is this race even close?

Hillary makes Bill Richardson look good.

Too bad Edwards turned out to be such a hypocritical jackass.

Yeah, the problem with all of candidates Obama has considered is that they are more Qualified to be President than HE is!
HA!

Oh, yeah, Wiken. Edwards TURNED OUT to be a Jackass!

Turned out. He said!

While I'd be okay with the pantsuit - the best alternative (including Governor Sebelius) is Caroline Kennedy! I'm for that.

As a Hillaryite, I've pretty much determined that the only way I will even *consider* voting for Obama is if he chooses Hillary. I still don't like the fact that she'd have to work *under* him, but if Obama chooses an anti-choice white guy or any other woman for that matter, it is an absolute slap in the face to Hillary and all her supporters. And if you think my scenario is out of the norm, trust me, it isn't. I know a number of Hillary supporters who intend to vote for McCain. We all saw this coming -- Obama's arrogance and lack of experience and judgment would be immediately attacked by the GOP...and the fact that he now has changed his mind on FISA, the death penalty, the 2nd Amendment and faith-based initiatives only deters me even more from ever allowing him to get my vote.

Good plan, AMS. Vote for the Republican so we can have four more years of Bush-like stupidity.

I never said I'd vote for McCain. I said I knew others in my situation who were planning to. If push comes to shove, I'll write in HRC's name.

Could it happen? Oh, my hopes are up now! Made my day just thinking it....

How about Thune and Mccain, THE NEW TEAM CAMPAIGN MESSAGE COULDE BE FLIP AND FLOP.

Hillary is much plumper than that pant suit would allow. That is NOT her pant suit. I have pictures. On my walls. And ceiling.

Yup, writing in HRC is going help when Supreme Court Justice appointments come up. I'd much rather Obama vs McCain on that ...but don't let that get in the way of a pouty hissy fit.
