I’ve never been much of a Chris Matthews fan. He always struck me as mostly bombastic with little insight.
Apparently his hair agrees with me and doesn’t like him much either.
The MSNBC talking head’s hair starts out in place when he and TV God Keith Olbermann start their prime time convention anchoring.
But the combination of dry mountain air, wind, ineffective hairspray, and Matthews’ fine blond and gray hair causes major flyaway problems.
He reminds me of Lloyd Bridges’ memorable character in the movie Airplane! who would come on and say things like, “I picked a bad day to quit drinking/smoking/sniffing glue/amphetamines” while his hair got crazier and crazier.
