Added to KSFY's Wheel of Felons: Rock Rapids Burglary Deer!

South Dakota Watch has learned that "Buck," the burglary deer who broke into the Frontier Bank in Rock Rapids, Iowa on New Years Day, will be added to KSFY-TV's "Wheel of Felons" segment on the 10 p.m. Action News Friday.

Buck broke into the bank through a window and was captured on video ransacking the business.  He then broke another window when he left the bank.

According to Rock Rapids Police Chief Chuck Vanderdorken (not his real name), the fugitive deer could be out committing other crimes.

"You can't trust deer," Chief Vanderdorken said.  "They look cute but they're sneaky.  Buck is well known in these parts.  He's probably out committing other crimes now, like eating farmers' corn and having sex with underaged does."

KSFY-TV news director John Shelby said in a made up quote that it is Action News' duty and obligation to make sure the miscreant creature is put behind bars--or at least in a secure zoo.

"We have a tremendous track record of putting the bad guys away," Shelby said in a faux interview.  "First, there was that Minnesota scratch ticket stealer.  Then there was that serial convenience store robber who was already in jail.  We just can allow rampant, felonious deer to terrorize our small communities.  KSFY will stop at nothing to bring Buck to justice," he added.

Buck's photo will be placed on the "Wheel of Felons" this Friday night at 10 p.m.  An Iowa game warden will be the featured law enforcement officer to spin the wheel.

Photo: Have you seen this deer?  Take a good look!  Buck is wanted for burglarizing an Iowa bank and is the latest contestant on KSFY-TV's "Wheel of Felons"!

Hilarious is right! And, unfortunately it's about as credible as the actual "Wheel of Meat" that they have on KSFY.
There's a reason why no law enforcement officer in town will appear on this joke of a segment. They all know that everyone is laughing at KSFY and no one is taking this thing seriously.
Honestly a :60 Crimestoppers PSA would have more impact than this 2 minute debacle.
