The 12th annual ecumenical WORLD AIDS DAY SERVICE will be held at Sonrise Baptist Church, 3300 E. Oak Street, Sioux Falls, beginning at 7 pm Friday, Dec 1.
Everyone is welcome to come and prayerfully remember those who have died of AIDS. Many organizations and churches in the city are cooperating to make this a meaningful and prayerful service. Included during the service will be the reading of names of those who have died of AIDS.

The Condom Project
The CONDOM PROJECT was established by a group of AIDS educators, activists, and artists who are committed to direct action. The Project works domestically and internationally to de-stigmatize condoms among all people and to increase their use among sexually active individuals.
Presenters:
Frank DeRose, Director – an entrepreneurial visionary, has employed his strategic planning capabilities in many community-oriented capacities and been an AIDS activist over the past two decades.
Red Fitzgerald, Operations & Development – active member of the progressive arts community and social justice arena. She is committed to using art education to change lives.
Joy Lynn Alegarbes, Safer Sexpert – a community-based artist and sexual health advocate, brought sexual health education to many organizations and is a strong believer in using theatre and community-based arts as a medium for dialogue.

CoffeeLoft.org at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion announces a WORLD AIDS DAY EVENT!
Friday, December 1st from 7-9:30pm CoffeeLoft.org and a variety of student organizations present "World AIDS Day: Music, Art, Remembrance, and Celebration." The event will feature music by local artist Crystal Gorden and Canadian folk singer standout Erika Kulnys.
During the concert, the Condom Project from D.C. will help participants create their own Condom Art.
Also available as the music plays on will be "Light-Up Breaks"—individual candlelight vigils in Danforth Chapel.
As well, Musician CDs and HIV/AIDS commemorative work signed by artist Dana Tiger will be available for purchase.
Reception to follow at the University's new multicultural center, the Unity House.
Tickets are $5 for adults, children free, and are available at the door or in advance by calling CoffeeLoft.org at 605 624-3902. Ticket price includes concert, candle, condom art, and coffee. Proceeds will be donated to help promote HIV/AIDS awareness.
