BARB HIMMEL-ROBERTS ANNOUNCES CAMPAIGN APPEARANCES

APRIL 28, MAY 6, AND MAY 7

 

            HARTFORD , SD--Barb Himmel-Roberts, candidate for Minnehaha County Commissioner, announces the following campaign appearances:

• 5 p.m., Friday, April 28--Workers Memorial Day and Dedication of the Morris Library at the Sioux Falls Labor Temple, 10th and Cliff, Sioux Falls.  There will be a dedication in honor of Ralph and Ruth Morris, who labored tirelessly for workers.
  
• 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 6--Minnehaha County Democratic Party Candidate Kick-off Brunch, Good Samaritan National Headquarters, 57th Street and I-29, Sioux Falls.
• 2 p.m., Sunday, May 7--Participating in Brandon Loyalty Days Parade, Brandon.

            "I look forward to meeting more citizens and talking about the issues in the commission race," Himmel-Roberts said.  Barb is one of three Democrat and three Republican candidates vying for three spots on the Minnehaha County Commission this November.

HARTFORD , SD --Barb Himmel-Roberts will travel Minnehaha County April 3, 2006, with a series of stops formally announcing that she is seeking a spot on the Minnehaha County Commission.

"As I plan to run as the candidate for all the citizens, I think it is appropriate that I touch as many communities and citizens as possible in announcing my candidacy," Himmel-Roberts said.

Himmel-Roberts is a Sioux Falls native who lives on an acreage outside of Hartford. She is a Democrat.

She begins her announcement tour at the Multi-Cultural Center in Sioux Falls at 10 a.m. and concludes it with supper at the Hartford Steak House in Hartford.

"I look forward to meeting fellow Minnehaha County residents and talking about their concerns in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere," Himmel-Roberts said.
