Lincoln High Government Students Defeat "C"

Ok.  It's not scientific.  And probably at least half the kids can't actually vote tomorrow.  But two of Sioux Falls Lincoln High School's junior/senior U.S. Government classes voted and defeated Amendment C 64% to 36%.

A win's a win.

Take a hint from the Patriots at LHS: Vote NO on "C"!

The Anti-"C" MoJo Train Continues to Roll

The No on "C" mojo trains continues to roll:

Amendment C too close to call [robbinsdale radical] Polling is showing the race on Amendment C is going to be very close. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of voter-ID on this one--many folks know more than they wanted to know about the abortion ban, but the "quasi-marital relationship ban" is a bit unknown to voters. This is the message I hope all of us should share.

Discrimination By sdmoderate   Amendment C will do just that. What’s next painting large “A’s” on the foreheads of adulterers, or maybe burning witches at the stake? Sound silly? ... Amendment C is no different, it’s just the latest incarnation of these policies. ...

How Long Can Gutzon Borglum Online Keep It Going?

I have to tell you that the premise behind Gutzon Borglum Online is cool: Write and think like ol' Gutzon would if he had a blog.

So far, the ersatz Gutzon wears the skin of his idol pretty damn well.  I've done a lot a reading and research on Borglum and Mt. Rushmore (see yesterday's entry on GBO) and he knows his subject.

But how long can he keep it going?  There is obviously a lot of material out there on Borglum but will there come a time when the cable car runs out of cable on its way to the top of the mountain?  (Mt. Rushmore nerds will understand the reference.)

Mr./Ms GBO probably doesn't even know the answer.  But meanwhile, enjoy the ride.
